Private Functions

St Johns Sports and Social Club has facilities perfect for private functions like; weddings, christenings, birthday parties and any other occasion you may be celebrating.

All hire costs are inclusive of bar staff who will run the fully stocked bar throughout your event.  Our drinks prices are very reasonable, much lower than pub prices.

Please note there is no charge for setting up time 1 hour prior to your event starting.  If you require longer an extra charge will be made.

Hire Charges for Members

Day time hire up to 6pm - £15.00 per hour

Evening hire after 6pm - £100.00

Hall Hire Charges for Non – Members

Day time hire up to 6pm - £18.50 per hour

Evening hire after 6pm £150.00

Number of Guests - MAXIMUM 100 ~ MINIMUM 30 (an extra charge may be made for parties of less than 30)

Deposit and payment

A refundable deposit of £100 is to be paid on booking the event and is refunded to the hirer at the end of their hire.  The deposit will not be refunded if the full hire cost is not paid by the specified date.  Any breakages or damage is caused.

Private Function Conditions

St Johns S&S Club will provide the function room and bar facility.  Any persons entering the event who is known to the committee to be barred from St Johns club will be told to leave immediately.  We accept no liability for loss or damage to property (including vehicles) bought on to the premises by the hirer or their guests.

Hirer & Guest Conditions

Any drink found on the premises which has not been purchased from the bar, will be removed and discarded.

Non members are not permitted to enter the members only bar

Any person found using or in possession of any illegal substance will be removed from the premises and barred from the club

The hirer is responsible for leaving the function room clean and tidy.
